 1. Conamara Bog Week

The annual Conamara Bog Week 2019 festival takes place in the Quaker village of Letterfrack. This is the 35th year of the festival and the organisers Conamara Environmental Education and Cultural Centre are promising an exciting line up as usual.

2. The Carrabane Arts Festival

Galway’s newest arts festival, the CAFE (Carrabane Arts for Everyone) Festival will take place on the June Bank Holiday weekend in the village of Carrabane, just five minutes from Loughrea. The festival is centred around three locations – Carrabane’s newly opened Village Theatre, a forest walk which will be transformed by local children into The Enchanted Forest and Carrabane Hall.

3. Eyre Square Brass Band Concerts

St. Patrick’s Brass Band from Galway will perform open-air concerts along with guest bands in Eyre Square on Saturday afternoon and every other Saturday for the months of June and July. A lovely way to pass a Saturday afternoon.

4. Fever Pitch Music Festival

Fever Pitch festival returns to Galway Airport from 01st to 02nd June 2019. The Waterboys will be headlining Saturday along with The Stunning and Aslan supporting. Sunday is headlined by Gavin James with Hermitage Green and Hudson Taylor supporting. It’s promised to be a fantastic weekend of music!

5. Westend Summer Street Feastival

Galway’s Westend is hosting the Street Feastival event this Monday 3rd June. It will be held on Ravens Terrace from 11am this Monday. The Line up includes some of the award winning eateries from around the neighbourhood as well as some pop up food gems from Galway Market.
