Springtime can be a great time of year to focus on re-energising and reinvigorating (often easier said than done!) but our top things to do this weekend will help you to do just that as we usher in this new season.

1) Follow a Virtual Workout Class

Fitness influencers, like Amie Wiley, have really stepped up to the mark over the past year by making easy to follow home workouts for people of all fitness levels. Amie has exercise sessions to help improve in all areas, from strength to stamina. Exercise is a great way to improve your physical and mental health, so why not give one of her virtual sessions a try?

2) Plant Some Seeds

Flowers and foliage are synonymous with Spring so perhaps you could attempt to plant your own? Bringing plants into your home is a great way to liven up and energise your interiors. Planting seeds can also be a great activity to do with children particularly as we remain housebound at the moment. Dangan Nurseries in Galway city are currently delivering a wide variety of garden produce to suit your home and skill levels!

3) Order Breakfast From Pascals

‘The Homeschool Box’, with sandwiches and snacks, or ‘The Brunch Box’, with pancakes and smoothies, are two options available at Pascal Coffee House to order, for collection or delivery. Treat yourself to a delicious weekend reward.

4) Join a Therapeutic Art Workshop

Having a creative outlet is a great way to relieve stress and unwind. Join Sarah Serrano-Esquilin, a Brooklyn based artist with a license in Special Education Birth-6th, and a recent Master’s graduate at Pratt Institute in Creative Arts Therapy. She believes in the therapeutic benefits of art and is making it accessible. Join in on Saturday 6 at 4pm.
