It is hard to believe that we are already half way through February! As lockdown continues, it can be hard to come up with new things to keep us occupied and motivated (within our 5k)! but as the days get longer and brighter, we can’t help but feel there is more to look forward to! Here are our suggestions for the top things to do this weekend.
1) Send a Letter to The Galway City Museum
Galway City Museum is inviting the people of Galway to write a letter to future generations of Galwegians as part of their “Dear Galway” pandemic project. The idea of this project is to ask the public to share their lived experiences of dealing with the Covid-19 pandemic and to offer advice to future generations on how best to cope during such a crisis. Participants can submit their letters by post or by email up until and including Monday 1st March. Handwritten or typed letters can be sent via post to “Dear Galway” Project, Galway City Museum, Spanish Parade, Galway, H91 CX5P or scanned or typed letters can be emailed directly to museum@galwaycity.ie
