Climb A Hill For Jack and Jill
This October, The Jack and Jill Foundation are encouraging to you climb, walk or run up a hill. The Jack and Jill Foundation provide specialist home nursing care and end-of-life care for children with highly complex and life-limiting medical conditions. Local family, The Quinn’s from Roscam has benefited from their help since their daughter Lucia was born. She was born in February 2021 with heart and lung complications along with Down Syndrome. She was transferred to Crumlin where she had heart surgery, an aortopexy, dealt with sepsis and was diagnosed with severe tracheomalacia. With no family able to help due to COVID, the family relied on the Jack and Jill foundation which provides night-time care so parents Geraldine and James can spend time with Lucia’s brothers.
