Galway Fringe Festival

Galway Fringe Festival is here! Bursting with artistic endeavours and visual displays across the city and county, Act 1 is due to cease on September 30th. Keep an eye out for breath-taking art exhibitions featuring artists Laura Vecchi, Aisling Legros and Kieran Tuohy which are popping up in various locations. Their art captures both the past and present state of Ireland. Explore the fauna and flora of Ireland with Michael Molamphy’s ‘Lens by the Lake’. Support local artists, crafters and creators while strolling through the vibrant St Nicholas Weekend Market. Meet Me At The Castle

Live music in a beautiful setting? Yes please! Meet Me At The Castle is the newest event to hit Galway. A stunning line up including Lisa Hannigan, DJ Sally Cinnamon and Tolu Mackey (with more to be announced) are set to blow the roof off the Claregalway venue this Saturday and Sunday. Connemara Tai Chi

If you need to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and take a breather. Connemara Tai Chi is offering beginner classes. Originally developed for martial arts, Tai Chi now involves deep breathing and flowing movements to reduce stress, improve posture, balance and general mobility, and increase muscle strength in the legs.
