Brighten Your Day With Light and Language
Celebrate the work of Nancy Holt, a key member of the Earth, Land and Conceptual art movements and who rethought the possibilities and pushed the boundaries of art. Light and Language invites artists A.K. Burns, Charlotte Moth, Katie Paterson and more to explore ideas of light and language alongside the late Nancy Holt. Her structure Electrical System will be presented for the first time in three decades. With one hundred glowing lightbulbs, it stands tall in the centre of the exhibition and executes her innovative ‘system sculptures’ that make the facts of architecture visible. The exhibition will be presented at Lismore Castle, throughout the garden and in St. Carthage Cathedral until October 10th. For further information click here.

Sweet Dreams with Sleeptember
We spend 36% of our lives asleep so as schools, offices and life return, we need to emphasize the importance of sleep. Rest strengthens the body and mind, boosts our immune system, aids our emotional health and cognitive function, repairs tissue and is a key component in the success and performance of elite athletes and top business people. This Sleeptember we are encouraging you to get in some healthy sleep habits like having an early night, creating a sleep schedule and turning off devices an hour before bed. The wellbeing initiative is supported by Des Kelly Interiors and was launched by TV presenter, Emer O’Neill, the newest star of RTÉ’s Today Show and a former presenter on Home School Hub. Des Kelly Interiors is having its Big Sleeptember Bed Sale at branches countrywide, and is generously donating to Focus Ireland based on mattress sales during the month.
