Get Sketching With Galway Cartoon Festival At Large
From art trails to workshops, caricatures to Spanish comics, the 2021 At Large cartoon festival is sure to delight. Cartoonists from near and far will visit Galway from October 1st – 9th and interpret the world around us through their cartoons. What happens to the metaphorical butterfly when it hasn’t had a social life for 18 months. Will the world be scary and incomprehensible? Will we be overwhelmed when we have to talk to people? Or will we be more patient? During the festival, you will also be encouraged to get involved and bring out your creative side. Whether you’re Dr. Seuss or not, there’s something for everyone from drawing on walls around Galway to listening to art history walks to a workshop by French cartoonist Fabrice Matray.
