Get A Room
Enda Walsh is one of Ireland’s most internationally celebrated playwrights. His most recent success was Medicine featuring Domhnall Gleeson which had its world premier in Edinburgh International Festival. Inviting you to immerse yourself with their evolving Room series written and directed by Walsh and designed by Paul Fahy. Premiering in Columban Hall, Galway at the Galway International Arts Festival this September, Bedsit is the eighth in this series of unique theatre installations. Each Room is presented as 15-minute immersive theatre installation with an audience of one person or a small group, invited to step inside to explore the intimate space. A recorded audio of the story is then played featuring the voices of some of Ireland’s leading actors, including Niall Buggy, Charlie Murphy, Eileen Walsh. Tickets are on sale now on giaf.ie.

See The Grand Auld Stretch
Get ready to laugh out loud with Roisin Dubh’s new show “The Grand Aul Stretch.” Starting on August 13th, laughs, music and people will fill the iconic stage to bring you six Working In Progress shows featuring Galway’s own comedy legend Tommy Tiernan and music from Mick Flannery and Jape. Settled under a tent away from the possible rain with a click and collect bar, top quality sound and stage setup and 200 attendees, the night is guaranteed to be one to remember and not to miss. Christy Moore, Junior Brother, Deidre O’Kane and Mary Coughlan are just a few names that are set to take to the Salthill stage.
