The weekend offers some well earned free time, and choosing how to spend it can be hard. No worries, we have put together a list of our top five suggestions of things to.

1. Grab lunch at the Renzo Gallery Café

With a selection of sweet treats and brunch bowels on offer, your mouth will definitely be watering when it comes to the delicious menu at Renzo Gallery Café. You can also admire local artist’s work as you enjoy a tasty bite.

2. Attend a Mary Coughlan performance

Singer Mary Coughlan is performing at the Royal Spa Hotel in Lisdoonvarna, 3pm on Sunday, 20 September. Make sure to get your tickets as her later performance is already sold out. The show is sure to be a wondrous display of talent.

3.  Partake in outdoor yoga

Outdoor yoga sessions take place every Saturday at 10:30 in Salthill Public Park. All levels are welcome. The perfect Saturday morning activity for those looking to start off the weekend mindfully. Make sure you bring your mat!

4. Visit Galway City Museum

For a historical and interesting day out, be sure to check out the exhibits on display at Galway City Museum. There’s plenty to see and admission is free.

5. Enjoy vinyl Saturdays at Bridge Street Bar

Bridge Street Bar in Castlebar runs vinyl tracks every Saturday from 3pm to 6pm. Come along for a laid back and enjoyable way to spend your Saturday afternoon.
