1. JAZZGate: The Music of Aretha Franklin (feat Barbara Vulso)


Jazz lovers, you won’t want to miss this one! Curated by Aengus Hackett Music, the #JAZZGate Series pays tribute to the greatest jazz artists and composers of all time, as well as featuring local and visiting musicians – the absolute cream of the Irish Jazz scene. 2. Galway Tattoo Show 


Ink fanatics, here’s one for you! The 7th Annual & International Galway Tattoo Show comes to The Galmont this weekend. A show that will showcase the very best in Irish Tattooing, with a fantastic international artist list. The show boasts nearly 100 tattoo artists at the top of their game along with bands, acts, stand up comedy, an art gallery and a market. 3.  Coffee & Tunes @ Temporary Pleasure


The lads at Temporary Pleasure are brewing up a storm in their coffee and records shop on Abbeygate Street. The aim of the space is to celebrate and elevate the essential party experience through records and label culture, live in-store events, artwork, books, photography, documentation, and exhibitions. They stock mostly dance records; house, disco, electro, techno and so on, along with stunning coffee and a fantastic chill atmosphere. If you’re looking for a caffeine fix with a twist this weekend, or perhaps a pre-party beer, call into the guys at Temporary Pleasure.

4. QUEST Lough Derg


Outdoors and adventure enthusiasts here’s one for you! Quest Lough Derg is a one-day multi-sport race which gives competitors the chance to run, cycle and kayak.
