Summer Solstice Sunrise Yoga
There will be a special yoga event this Friday, June 21st to celebrate The Summer Solstice and International Yoga Day at Ladies Beach. The class will be suitable for all levels of Yogis and Yoginis and will begin at 5 am. The yoga session will be approx 1 hour of Hatha Yoga with some Om-Chanting to finish (maybe!)… Attendees are advised to bring a towel or a blanket. For more info, click here.

Galway Bike Buffet
Galway’s westend along with Galway Urban Greenway Alliance and Galway City Council will host a cycle buffet to celebrate the food and cycling cultures of Galway for National Bike Week. To kick off the national festival in Galway, The Bike Buffet is happening on Saturday 22nd June from 3 pm. Working with eateries in Galway Westend and FoodSpace Ireland, there will three courses served with a starter at the award-winning FoodSpace on the NUIG campus, then it’s time to cycle to a secret location for an alfresco main course from Botown Craft Beers and Burgers. The cycle continues through Galway and will finish at Fr Burke Park with a dessert of whipped ice cream and fresh berries which will be supplied from the Garden of the Presentation Primary School. Sculptor Donnacha Cahill will have a piece of his works at Fr Burke Park which will also be doubling up to play some serious tunes. For tickets and more information, click here.

A weekly jazz party featuring the finest of local and visiting musicians. This week will honour the music of Charlie Parker. The Black Gate is a place of the arts. It has been born with creativity at its heart, and, with it, will further assert the creative soul of this city. If you fancy a night of good music, this is the must-do event of the weekend for you. Your Health is Your Wealth Training Day
Walk away from this incredible event feeling upskilled, empowered and blessed. Your Health is Your Wealth Training Day will consist of training sessions to equip attendees with skills such as kinesiology techniques, chakra balancing techniques, emotional resilience techniques and many more. There will also be gentle energy exercises, health discussions, and meditation. All proceeds from the day will be donated two very dedicated, hard-working and deeply committed charities, namely East Galway and Midlands Cancer Support Centre in Ballinasloe, who are outreaching to 170 Cancer clients per week. The second Charity is called A Partnership with Africa, who are doing groundbreaking human rights work with Domestic workers and Trafficked girls throughout Ethiopia.
