Local Craft & Food Fair at the Black Box Theatre

On Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd, over 50 producers will be showcasing the very best in local crafts and food at the Black Box theatre. Spend the day wandering through the stalls, admiring the displays and sampling the very best products including jams, jellies, chutneys, cakes, cheeses, ethnic foods, juices, poitín and microbrews.

With free admition, entertainment and refreshments, this is the perfect event for a family-friendly weekend!

The Trust Me, I’m a Doctor group will be taking to the stage of Monroes live venue on Friday 30th November for a night of good music and good craic. With a new album on the way, this is only the start od their return to their rightful place at the top of the charts.

The Matchmaker at Town Hall Theatre

John B. Keane’s beloved hit comedy The Matchmaker returns to the stage by popular demand on Saturdy, December 1st! The classic tale follows the efforts of Dicky Mick Dicky O’Connor to make matches for the lonely and lovelorn from all parts of the country. Keane’s marvellous and mischievous wit coupled by his unparalleled way with words take us back to a simpler time.

Loughwell Winter Wonderland

From the 1st of December, Loughwell Farm Park will be transformed into a wonderous winter wonderland for Santa’s elves to feel right at home. Visitors will get to meet Mrs Claus as she gets ready for Christmas, wish a wish as they pass over the magic bridge to meet Santa, tell Santa all their Christmas wishes and (if they’ve been good this year) he’ll give all the girls and boys a Golden ticket to choose their own beautiful present from Santa’s Toy Shop.

The Waterboys at Leisureland Galway

From 7 pm on the 1st of December, The Waterboys will be performing their classic hits on the stage of Leisureland, Galway. Performing songs from their newest album Out Of All This Blue – 12th and first double album – the event will transport fans right back to when they first appeared on the scene.
