This Sunday, June 9th, The Lodge at Ashford Castle will once again host the highly successful Pink Afternoon supporting the National Breast Cancer Research Institute.
This popular event, organised by the charity’s Galway Fundraising Committee and sponsored by DeCare Dental, is one of the charity’s major fundraisers and monies raised help to support the breast cancer research team at the Lambe Institute, University Hospital, Galway, led by Professor Michael Kerin.
Guest speaker this year is Siobhan Murray. Siobhan is a resilience coach, expert psychotherapist and best-selling author who helps women re-ignite their self-worth, build resilience and grow into their full potential.
With The Galway Races on the horizon, the fun-filled day will include a Milliners Showcase, featuring headpieces by incredible Milliners. Each guest will receive a wonderful goodie bag and Galway Bay FM’s, Ollie Turner will host a fundraising auction. There will be table prizes, pop-ups and a few surprises on the day which will also feature live music into the late evening with the Jive Buddies.
Tickets for the Pink Afternoon are €80 per person and in high demand with limited numbers remaining. Proceeds from the event go to the National Breast Cancer Research Institute.
