Trattoria Magnetti
Just because you can’t visit Italy does not mean you can’t taste the Italian cuisine. Trattoria Magnetti is situated in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Galway on Quay Street. It offers an authentic Italian menu from pasta, light bites and tasty treats, guaranteed to leave you wanting more. Tucked away under a canopy, it gives privacy while still allowing you to soak in the famous Galway atmosphere. Reopening next week they are working off a first come, first served basis with no booking required.
Armorica
Oranmore based Armorica Restaurant’s menu is rooted in a modern yet classic French style and is accompanied by an extensive wine menu. Combining the management and Cuisenaire skills of Natasha Hughes and Nicolas Denis, core values include a serious commitment to using the freshest, most sustainably produced and locally sourced ingredients to provide a truly extraordinary dining experience. Corrib Tea Rooms
The Corrib Tea Rooms cafe will re-open for outdoor dining in their beautiful front and rear courtyards, Wednesday to Sunday 9.30am-4pm with their famous brunch menu now served all day each day, (and operated on a walk in, first come basis). They have also just announced an evening time wine and grazing boards menu for the summer weekends, Friday and Saturday evenings from 4pm-9pm with reservations required through their website.
Roots
Roots is located parallel to the River Corrib giving you spectacular views of the flowing river. If it’s a family-friendly menu you’re looking for, they have a kids menu as well as a wide range of pastas, pizzas and burgers to choose from. Bookings available through their website.
An Púcán
The outdoor beer garden at An Púcán is bursting with colour and vibrance making it the perfect place to snap an Insta story, have a cocktail, and enjoy the food. On the menu is everything from soup to chicken or pasta, so you are spoiled for choice! Bookings can be made through their website.
Rúibín Bar & Restaurant
Rúibín Bar & Restaurant gives a scenic view overlooking the docklands. The exterior is quaint and understated while still being beautifully modern. The restaurant focuses on Irish seasonal foods, promising to leave your mouth watering. The menu changes daily so you are always in for a treat! They will not be taking bookings for outdoors as seating is limited.
