Its time for a long weekend! Galway is jam packed this weekend, there is so much to do over the next three days!

1. GAME-A-THON

galway game-a-thonReturning to Dungeons and Donuts this Saturday is the annual charity GAME-A-THON! Having raised €30,000 for Cancer Care West they hope to raise even more this year. Some of the activities on the day will include Dead of winter colony vs colony, a Zombie dice tournament, A undead table quiz, a Late night fancy dress Mysterium.  Check out the fill details on the official FACEBOOK page

2. CONAMARA SEA WEEK

conamara sea weekConnemara Sea Week is back for the 35th year, and with more events than ever to celebrate it’s amazing marine heritage. Throughout the week there will be speakers, music workshops, kite flying, open sessions and even a book fair. If you’re looking for something different to do outside of the city, this is the perfect excuse to head out to Letterfrack and take in some of the freshest air you can find. 3. REGINAL D HUNTER

Coming with his highly anticipated brand new show after twenty years of gifted storytelling and effortless dark humour. Facing the Beast showcases his gentleman southern at his controversial and hilarious best. Performing in the Town Hall Theatre on the 25th of October this is not one to miss.

4. SALTHILL ZOMBIE CHASE

salthill zombie walk This Saturday a crowd of terrifying zombies will once again be released onto the Salthill Prom. Their mission, to capture all humans! The zombies are back and this year they’re determined to catch you all. Registration for our 3rd annual Zombie Chase opens this week in aid of ACT for Meningitis

5. BARNA WOODS

This walk is of easy walk is perfect for you to do with your kids or less experienced hikers. Barna is a peaceful wooded area with large open greens for the kids or pets to play. This walk is a great way to reconnect with nature and let the stress of the week wash away!
