Over the past few years, gin has seen an incredible revolution. New variations, infusions and cocktails are popping up all the time. Irish companies like Dingle Distillery and Drunshambo Gunpowder Irish Gin are now ranked amongst the best in the world.

What to expect at Gin Fest 2019

Beginning today, 06/06/19, Gin Fest promises to offer four fantastic days of master classes, tastings, gin cruises, new gin launches, and much more! There will also be night time events, with some of Galway city’s best bars and restaurants ensuring the party won’t stop until Sunday, 09/06/2019.

Saturday is World Gin Day, and will see the return of ‘The Gin Village’ at The Quays Bar from 5-7pm. As well as a live DJ, there will be plenty of pop up gin bars for you to stroll through and sample a range of G&Ts.

Many of the events are free to attend, and you’ll get the chance to learn about how your favourite spirit is made. This is also a great opportunity to explore The Latin Quarter, which boasts many of Galway’s best bars and restaurants. Let the fun beGIN!
