If you’re like me and end up leaving all of your decorating to the last minute, don’t worry! There’s still time to pull off a showstopper of a transformation.
Below we’ve rounded up some of the best Halloween decor inspiration around, to bring your house from cosy home to Haunted Mansion.

Take inspiration from TikTok user @kary_diy with this fabulously scary garage decor, that would also work on windows!
Using some black fabric, or even cutting some black bin bags into horizontal strips, cover your door or window. Then, use orange and white card to create two rows of monster teeth, placing them above and below the black fabric. Finally, sketch out some ghoulish monster eyes on white card to go over the monster’s mouth and that’s it! Your very own monster house.
Pro tip: try using glow-in-the-dark paint on the monster’s teeth, to achieve maximum spooks even at night.
These ghost cutouts are scarily easy to make, but are the perfect backdrop for trick or treaters dropping by. Trace the shape out on white paper as a stencil, before cutting them out of black card paper. Stick them on the bottom half of your windows, peeking out from your curtains. For a creepy ambience, you can even place an electric candle behind them to create some spooky shadows.

Maximum results with minimum fuss, this decoration requires only two things. You can find witches’ cauldrons in most shops at this time of the year, and – if you don’t already have one – you can pick up a diffuser from your local Penneys or TK Maxx.
Simply pop your diffuser into the cauldron, turn it on to a coloured light setting, and there you have it! A glowing witch’s cauldron ready to enchant the neighbourhood.
