Sorcha O’Raghallaigh is an Irish designer known for her unique, bespoke creations, ornamental detailing and fairytale-like finished pieces. Her work and talent speaks for itself and has earned her an elite following; her clothes have been worn by Beyoncé, Madonna, Kate Moss and Lady Gaga amongst others and her designs have been featured in the likes of British Vogue, Vogue Italia, LOVE Magazine and W. Here, she presents a stunning collection of intricate, hand-embellished showpieces.

During the creation process the designer takes into consideration the “quality, history and passing on of a handmade skill from one person to another”, a fact that is reflected clearly in her aesthetic through the use of symbolism and iconography. Sorcha’s designs, which sometimes take up to three months to create as they are all done by hand, are a welcome reprieve in the current climate of disposable fast-fashion.

Sorcha’s creations are strictly one-of-a-kind and limited edition designs. Her work is currently exhibited at Inside Arc at London’s Fashion Space Gallery, as part of an exclusive line-up of rare archival pieces that also includes designers Alexander McQueen, Givenchy and John Galliano. Her extreme attention to detail paired with the natural gift of artistic vision means that Sorcha’s designs are continuously spectacular, bewitching and unique.
