The aim of the festival is to foster jazz as a contemporary art form in the West. Jazz admirers will have plenty to choose from in a line up that includes artists from Norway, The US, Germany, The UK and Italy and the best of Irish artists. Venues include The Crane Bar, Druid Theatre, St Nicholas’ Church, Black Gate Cultural Centre, The Kitchen, Roisin Dubh, The Blue Note and many more.

Hot can be cool & cool can be hot & each can be both.
But hot or cool man, Jazz is Jazz.
Louis Armstrong

Funded by Galway City Council, The Arts Council, Culture Ireland and a host of local sponsors, the festival captures the spirit of improvisation, communication, music and creativity, which will be in abundance during the four days of this fabulous festival!
