…with Caitlinn Lowry
Describe yourself in three words:
Silly, bubbly and passionate are probably the best words I’d use to describe myself!
What is something our readers might not know about you?
I originally wanted to stick to a more academic route after school and wanted to study History or German in college but didn’t get the Leaving Cert points. I went to GTI to study film as a next option and that’s where I learned about the fashion courses that they had to offer.
What is your proudest accomplishment?
I’m always over the moon and happy whenever I see a customer happy. It’s one of my biggest accomplishments knowing I’ve helped them on their fashion and style journey. One customer’s mum even texted me saying what a good job I did on her styling bundle and it really made me so happy for weeks.

Who is your biggest inspiration?
Probably my best friend Chloë Redmond who owns Lemon Queen Shop and also runs the Flea Style Market in Galway. We’ve been on such a fashion journey together and both watched our businesses grow. The work she puts into her business is so inspiring, I want to be like her when I grow up!
Tell us something you love about Galway:
How I always see a familiar face every day! I could be in town at 6am and I’m just guaranteed to see someone I know. It’s really comforting to know you always have a bit of home here no matter where you are in the world. I also love the many coffee shops and small businesses that Galway has to offer!
Caitlinn is in the middle of moving to London where she hopes to expand her business.
