Galway Goes Pink This October
October is breast cancer awareness month and Galway based charity, Breast Cancer
Research, formerly The National Breast Cancer Research Institute (NBCRI), are asking
everyone to consider holding a fundraising event, such as a ‘Pink Day’ coffee morning, ‘Pink Party’, or a cake sale at their work place, school or home in aid of the charity during the course of the month.

Every cent counts and this also gives companies or schools a chance to have some fun while supporting the work of the research team based at the Lambe Institute for Translation Research, NUI Galway.

Galway Businesses Supporting Breast Cancer Research during October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Caprice Café in Galway are holding a ‘Dine in Pink’ dinner this Thursday headed-up by Professor. Michael Kerin. Guests on the night will be treated to a sparkling reception followed by a delicious dinner with music fun and lots of spot prizes. The MC on the night will be Kieran O’ Malley, aka The Galway Player. All proceeds raised on the night will go to Breast Cancer Research.
