Treat yourself to a picture Perfect Picnic Afternoon Tea at The Lodge at Ashford Castle. No frantic weather-checking will be necessary as you enjoy enchanting views of Lough Corrib in Wilde’s at The Lodge. Served from 2pm until 5pm daily with savoury goodies, sweet treats and homemade beverages served in vintage-style picnic bottles, this is definitely one to add to your to-do list. €27.50pp, add a glass of frizzante for €32.50pp.


The House Hotel are adding a twist to their traditional offering with their brand new Pink Gin Afternoon Tea. Enjoy a relaxed afternoon in the heart of The Latin Quarter with classic sandwiches, miniature desserts and heavenly scones, along with a mouthwatering Pink Gin Spritzer (Gordon’s Pink Gin, Prosecco, lemonade, fresh strawberries and raspberries, yum!).


A polished and considered experience to savour, Afternoon Tea at Ballynahinch Castle is both a traditional high tea and a signature showcase of Connemara. The Ballynahinch black tea – a unique blend containing locally-foraged ingredients such as juniper berries, horsetail and oat straw give the blend a light and playful aromatic top note. Available every Saturday from 1.30pm until 4pm. €25pp, €35pp with a glass of Prosecco or €40pp with a glass of Champagne.


Spoil yourself with a Champagne Afternoon Tea in the elegant surroundings of Glenlo Abbey Hotel. Enjoy a selection of dainty delights in the opulent surroundings of the River Room.


Sink into a chair in the parlour lounge and enjoy Hotel Meyrick’s brand new Traditional Autumn Afternoon Tea, served daily from 1pm until 6pm. What better way to spend an afternoon catching up with friends? Make a day of it and add a glass of Prosecco or warm yourself up with a Baileys or Royale coffee. Alison, the hotel’s resident pianist, will sooth away your afternoon each Friday, Saturday and Sunday. €19pp or €34 for two.


Lounge in laid back luxury while enjoying a scrumptious Afternoon Tea in the Lakeshore Lounge at Wineport Lodgethe perfect way to relax with a group of friends or celebrate a special occasion. For the ultimate day of indulgence, why not add a glass of bubbly, or two! Served daily from 1pm until 4pm. €25pp, €30pp with a glass of Prosecco and €37pp with a glass of Bollinger Champagne.
