More and more people are turning to spirituality for guidance and faith on their life paths. Spirituality can be practised in many forms, from meditation and manifestation rituals to gratitude, tarot cards, or simply an inner knowing that all is well. If you are feeling lost, stuck, or even curious about a deeper faith, here are 4 tips to help you on your spiritual journey.
Meditation helps by calming down an over- stimulated nervous system, which improves breathing, digestion, and reduces anxiety and depression. It offers a moment of pause and allows you to cultivate gratitude for the present moment, which is most welcome in our fast- paced world. Connecting to your breath allows you to listen to your body and your intuition, rather than running on autopilot from one day to the next. This allows you to make decisions that are aligned with you.
Manifestation has become a well-used phrase in recent years and is often linked to gaining material acquisitions such as a bigger house or better car. While this is all very real and possible, manifestation can be much simpler and quieter than what you see on social media. The theory of manifestation is that you align yourself with the frequency of what you want to have, and the universe will deliver it to you. It begins with gratitude, and a strong sense of self-worth. Manifestation is happening all the time, for example making a new friend or getting accepted for a new job. It is also helpful in knowing that the situations that don’t work out or come to fruition were simply not meant for you.
Gratitude is one of the highest vibrations you can embody. To begin practising gratitude, start with writing a list of 3 things you are thankful for each day. It can be simple things, such as a warm bed or a fresh cup of coffee. Try to make your 3 things different every day, and you will soon build an appreciation for what was around you all along, making you feel happier and more positive.
4. Tarot cards
Tarot cards can be used as a tool on your spiritual journey. The idea is that your intuition or your subconscious mind knows what you haven’t quite grasped yet. By asking a question and pulling the cards, you can begin to trust your intuition for guidance, and allow yourself to believe in a little magic!
