The Wella Professionals TrendVision Award 2018 Ireland Finalists have been announced at the recent Ireland Heat which took place on Monday 20th August 2018 in the Intercontinental Hotel, Dublin.  Galway was well represented in the finalists selection with Stephanie Higgins & Roisin Hynes of Sarah Mason Professional, Sara Gondek of Pazam Hair Studio, and Jonathan Healy of Belissimo all selected as finalists in this prestigious hairdressing competition.

The competition started with hundreds of photographic entries, showcasing the competitor’s creative hairdressing skills. The shortlist of finalists were then selected to present their chosen look at the Ireland Heat.

These four creatives are now among the 13 Ireland finalists who will go on to compete at the TrendVision Award UK & Ireland Final, which will be held on Monday, 8th October 2018 at The Roundhouse, Camden, London.

The UK & Ireland final will attract the very best of Irish and British hairdressing. The star-studded event will be presented by a celebrity host, with a three-course dinner and drinks reception, as well as incredible hair shows from some of the worlds most talented hair artists.

Those successful in winning their category will embark on a money-can’t-buy mentoring retreat at the International event in Lisbon, Portugal, in November 2018.

A wide range of highly acclaimed hairdressing experts judged the Ireland Heat, and Wella’s Director of Education, Sheila Jackson, commented on the level of creativity this year stating The UK & Ireland Heats have been exceptional, and we’ve been so impressed by the standard of the work we’re seeing. Speaking about the finalists she says: “They’ve had many hurdles to overcome getting to the final, and this demonstrates their hairdressing skills and professionalism. I wish all the contestants the very best of luck.”
