Green Earth Organics is a 30 acre mixed organic vegetable farm located just outside Galway City, Ireland.
Jenny & Kenneth Keavey founded the Green Earth Organics box delivery scheme in 2006. Their farm is situated at Caherlea, Corrandulla, Co. Galway. Originally the land belonged to Kenneth’s grandfather, then my father’s and finally, he took over the farm 14 years ago. In 2004 he put the farm into conversion for organic status.
The main aim at Green Earth Organics is to minimize the impact their farm has on the environment. All produce is grown in a sustainable way, the farm generates its own electricity via solar panels and finally, they harvest the rainwater from the West of Ireland to wash the fresh fruit and vegetables and to water the plants growing in their tunnels.
They offer freshly grown fruit and vegetables, various groceries including eggs, tea and coffee, spices, dairy products, and vegan products to name a few. Regardless of what county you are in, you can get your organic goods delivered to your door.
