Exclusive Social Photos: First Furlong at The Ardilaun Hotel
A highlight of the Galway Races Summer festival, the annual First Furlong event made a stylish return to the Ardilaun Hotel on Tuesday, July 30th. The event in aid of the National Breast Cancer Research Institute kicked off with a prosecco reception followed by a sumptuous four-course meal. Guests were also treated to a fabulous millinery showcase featuring local milliners such as Caithriona King, Majella Dalton, Emily Jean O’Byrne and Designs by Shimmer followed by entertainment from Duo Vocis. On the day, there were prizes for best-dressed lady and gent kindly sponsored by Anthony Ryan’s as well as many other fabulous raffle prizes.
