Following on from last years success, the second annual Racing for Rosabel pre-race event took place on Tuesday 30th July in association with The Skeff and Money Maximising Advisors. The event, which raises money for the Rosabel’s Rooms charity, has quickly become a firm fixture on the Galway Races summer festival social calendar. Surrounded by the buzz of Eyre Square, the afternoon of style and racing tips kicked off with a drinks reception and delicious canapes with music from Paul Gaughan. Guests were also treated to racing tips from the panel of pundits including jockeys Robbie Power and Leigh Roche. Not forgetting the style, there were prizes for Best Dressed Lady and Gent as well as Best Hat kindly sponsored by the Eyre Square Shopping Centre, Eddie Murphy Menswear and Barry’s Hair & Beauty.
