6 Coffee Shops To Visit During Festival Season

Coffee Shop

Whether you’re casually strolling about town, walking the prom or popping from the Palas to The Town Hall Theatre, there are so many wonderful coffee shops to choose from. Here we have created a coffee trail of some of our favourite Galway spots for a caffeine fix.

1. Coffeewerk + Press @coffeewerkandpress

Situated on Quay Street, this iconic coffee shop makes some of the best coffee in the city. Upstairs you’ll also find lots of curated homeware, gifts, an art gallery and the most charming window seat with one of the best vantage points in town!

The recently opened Fairhill is already making waves on Abbeygate Street and offers a delicious selection of artisan coffees, design and an event space.

3. Little Lane @littlelanecoffeecompany

Little Lane serves delicious coffee, has a wide Summer drinks menu and often stocks vegan options in their baked goods selection.

4. Kali Coffee Bar @kalicoffeebar

If you’re taking a stroll around Salthill during the festivities, Kali is our top spot to grab a delicious coffee. It’s also dog friendly so perfect for a puppuccino on the Prom.

5. Kindfolk @kindf_olk

Not only does Kindfolk stock a wide selection of curated sustainable clothing, products and accessories but they also have a gorgeous coffee set up by the window.

6. Urban Grind @urbangrindwest

Down the west end? Then look no further than Urban Grind. Grab a coffee and stroll along Sea Road or take some time out in their sun filled, outdoor seating area.

We are sharing many more fantastic spots to enjoy a great cup of coffee in our latest issue, on shelves now.
