Inspired by nature’s elements, each piece is handmade in Galway and created in sterling silver with each individual link is forged by hand. The links have their own unique fingerprint- they are all different. Each one is finished with a rough untouched raw texture on the outer edge contrasting against a smooth high polish of the flat link front. This reflects the rough textures of the rocks along the coastline against a sometimes still flat tranquil silver tide.

Scribble & Stone is a contemporary fine and fashion jewellery label by Irish designer Jenny Kiernan. The name signifies the fact that every design begins with a drawing, a “scribble” and the “stone” refers to gemstones which are an important component in many of their pieces. Contract is a key theme in this jewellery range with an assortment of textures and materials such as leather, metal (both precious and plated), gemstones, Italian cut glass, rubber and even laser cut perspex!
They have two ongoing collections at Scribble & Stone. The first is ‘S&S Minimals’ which is a beautiful delicate collection in durable precious metals. These pieces are classic designs made for everyday wear and are based around simple geometric shapes and architectural forms, designed to be layered and stacked. The more fashion ‘S&S Statement’ collection includes interesting materials such as laser-cut perspex, fringing, diamante and leather and are more experimental and fashion-forward in nature.
